Podcast
In the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election, I worked with my colleague — the head of NLP’s communications team — to launch the organization’s first podcast. Together, we developed the concept for a 10-part series examining the impact misinformation has on American democracy. We identified subject matter experts who could address various threats, including the rise of authoritarianism around the world, the lack of regulation on social media platforms, the coordination of disinformation campaigns by foreign influences, the gutting of local news outlets across the country and more. The series concluded with a live Zoom discussion that I moderated with three expert panelists. I conducted the interviews and oversaw the editing process for each segment.
